Over the thirty-year history of our firm, our real estate attorneys have been involved in many of the premier developments in Northwest Florida. Our understanding of and experience in this premier market brings to our clients a comprehen sive knowledge of the development of the real estate market in Northwest Florida.

Overcoming Obstacles. Real estate transactions often involve concerns over environmental issues. Our firm has experience in ensuring that adequate environmental reviews are completed and in dealing with issues relating to wetlands, hazardous wastes, leaking underground storage tanks, zoning, subdivision and infrastructure requirements. We are familiar with state laws requiring environmental investigation and remediation upon transfer of ownership and our attorneys have experience in drafting and negotiating indemnification and liability provisions in purchase and sale agreements, secured loan documents and leases.

Our Services. We are involved in the analysis of titles to property in the four major counties of Northwest Florida, and our real estate attorneys write title insurance policies for a number of leading title insurance companies. Beyond the basic real estate transactional work for our individual and corporate clients, the real estate practice also includes all aspects of residential development (single-family, multi-family, and condominium); commercial development; and financing arrangements required to support the development activities of our clients.
